	2 Teams in each division receive paid berths to: USSSA World Series 15U Major & AAA - Winterhaven, Florida, July 22-29, 2001 16U Major & AAA - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, July 29 - August 5, 2001  ** Number of teams qualifying for World Series depends on number of entrants in each class.

	2 Registered umpires per game
	7 inning games - baseballs included
	Local College and High School Regulation Fields
	Copies of birth certificates must be made available upon request
	No Protests allowed.  Decision made on field
	USSSA Rules
	Mercy Rule - 8 runs after 5, 10 after 4, 15 after 3
	No new inning can start after 2-1/2 hours have elapsed
	Shoot-out rule for all tie games after 7 innings
	Weekend passes available at the gate
	Tournament committee reserves the right to make decisions in the best interest of the tournament

	Registration Fee: $350.00 per team, 4 game guarantee
	Field limited to first 16 paid entries per division
	Payment MUST accompany registration
	Fill out Team Ranking and Registration Form and return with payment

1. To receive the quoted rates on the rate guide, you must identify yourself as a KALAMAZOO INVITATIONAL participant when calling to make a reservation. Hotel information will be provided upon confirmed entry only !
2. IT IS RECOMMENDED to guarantee your room at least THREE WEEKS in advance with a credit card or a deposit equal to one night’s stay mailed directly to the hotel/motel at which you make your reservation
